Request a post-exam inquiry

Request a clerical re-check or review of marking (enquiry about results) for a previous exam session. Enter the candidate details and the invoice/payer details, then add each subject and choose the papers to review and the service you need. You'll receive an email with a summary and payment details; the inquiry is sent to the centre once your payment is confirmed. The €100 administration fee is non-refundable.

About these services & fees

Cambridge International carries out extensive quality checks before releasing provisional results, but you can ask them to review a result if you feel it needs to be confirmed. Grades can go down as well as up on a review, and are only changed if objective marking errors are found. Cambridge deals with requests in the order they are received and normally take around 30 days to communicate an outcome.

What each service includes

Clerical re-check with copy of script (Service 1S)
Checks that all parts of the script were marked and that the marks were totalled and recorded correctly. You also receive a copy of the script.
Review of Marking (Service 2)
A review of the original marking to check the agreed mark scheme was applied correctly. This also includes the re-checks (all parts marked, totalled and recorded correctly). “Original marking” means the marking used to determine the candidate’s provisional result.
Review and Access to Script (Service 2S)
The same as Review of Marking, but you also receive a copy of the script.
